The Hunter Solution
Hunter wrote five engaging, SEO optimised job adverts and posted them on the UK’s leading job boards, including CV Library, Jobsite and Totaljobs. Hunter then conducted an in-depth Boolean search of the exclusive candidate database; enabling them to send email campaigns promoting each role and the business to an extremely targeted candidate community. All candidate applications were easily managed through the simple to use online recruitment portal. Functionalities of the portal include:
Within a month of Bidfood choosing to partner with Hunter they had received over 1,800 applications which resulted
in c75 hires across their vacancies.
These vacancies were filled through utilising a free trial of 5 Hunter job credits. This free trial was worth £2,500 – if
Bidfood were to have paid for these credits, this would have resulted in a cost per hire of approximately £33.
If Bidfood were to make the same number of hires via a traditional recruitment agency (15% fee and average salary
of £20,000) this is a cost saving of over £150,000!
As a result of the success of the Speke campaign, Bidfood purchased their first credit to assist with the recruiting of a Site Excellence Manager – this position had been open for 3 months (including with agencies) and within a month Hunter provided multiple candidates to interview and, most importantly, a successful candidate.
Following on from this, the Head of HR for Bidfood UK invited Hunter to present at their quarterly HR meeting, where HR professionals from multiple UK sites attended. This presentation allowed Hunter to showcase the online recruitment solution, with the intention of assisting with the company’s UK wide vacancies.
